America’s fastest growing national pro-life organization, the Personhood Alliance, announced today the addition of a new at-large organization, Love Louder, to its national board. The Personhood Alliance’s at-large organizations are broadly focused on demographics, subject areas, or issues of justice that surpass state boundaries. Love Louder, led by Jeff and Jennifer Christie, gives a voice to “the hard cases” in the abortion debate—the children who are deemed “the exceptions” and therefore, devalued in the culture and discriminated against in the law.
“The mission of Love Louder is to show that the littlest among us matters every bit as much as the biggest,” says Jennifer, “that the weakest are no less valuable than the strongest, and the immutable worth of the newest soul is equivalent to that of the oldest.” Jennifer is a nationally certified sign language interpreter whose story Raped on a Business Trip – My Husband and I Chose Life went viral in December, 2014. Since that time, Jennifer has become an international pro-life speaker, and she and her husband Jeff have shared their testimony in several countries. Jennifer also travels throughout the United States, presenting at rallies, pregnancy center events, and pro-life conferences and testifying before state legislatures on behalf of the rape-conceived and mothers from rape.
Personhood Alliance president Gualberto Garcia Jones notes, “Love Louder represents the core activist principle of the Personhood
Alliance, which is a hopeful and uncompromising commitment to love the least among us by defending the dignity of the individual in the midst of a fallen world. We are thrilled to have them join us.” Sarah Quale, president of Personhood Alliance Education, adds, “There is power in our testimony, and Jeff and Jennifer’s is one that has magnificent potential to change hearts and minds, because it’s a story of love and love’s power to overcome. We are so excited that Love Louder has joined with us to call the pro-life movement back to a consistent application of its principles and proclaim that every single human being, made in the image of God, has intrinsic value that isn’t determined by biological characteristics, life circumstances, or societal labels.”
Jennifer agrees, “We are humbled and excited to align ourselves with a community of believers who fight for all to recognize that who we become isn’t determined by how we were conceived.”
The Personhood Alliance is a confederation of 26 independent pro-life organizations who pursue personhood as the essential strategy for restoring legal protections to every human being—from biological beginning to natural death, without exception—and who endeavor to uphold the Biblical worldview in 21st-century politics and culture by honoring God’s design for life, marriage, family, sexuality, and gender.
