A 19-year-old teenager in New Mexico is charged with first-degree murder after allegedly giving birth in a hospital bathroom and discarding her newborn in a trash can. The baby boy died of asphyxiation.

Should anti-infanticide bills exempt the parents?

On April 17, 2019, the Personhood Alliance submitted a legal memo to the Wisconsin State Legislature on behalf of its affiliate, Pro-Life Wisconsin, outlining the problems with this exemption.
